Lawn Care
We offer seasonal agreements for turf mowing. Sign up for weekly or biweekly lawn mowing services. When you choose Emerald for lawn care, you can rest assured that your lawn will never be mowed too closely or not enough. Take the hassle and guesswork out of lawn mowing by hiring professionals. We remove all lawn clippings from your yard and service your turf reliably.
To maintain a healthy green look over the long term, fertilization of your lawn is key. Three elements—nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium—are essential to the healthy growth of grass, but these are commonly not available in large enough quantities through natural soil processes. Fertilization provides these elements to grass and keeps it growing properly. When you sign up for fertilization services with Emerald, we also assist with weed and pest issues.
Overseeding, also known as core aeration or silt seeding, is a lawn care practice that should be done every fall to maintain lawn health. Emerald will assist with overseeding your lawn to provide the grass with new growth the next spring.
Landscape Maintenance
In the spring, Emerald will clean up your yard and perform landscape maintenance tasks. These tasks often include:
- Removing leaves and debris
- Preparing and planting flower beds
- Controlling pests and weeds
- Trimming and pruning plants
- Adding new mulch to planter beds
Shrub Care
An essential component of landscape maintenance is the trimming and pruning of shrubs. Generally, shrubs need to be pruned two to three times per year. Shrubs also need to be fertilized, and any diseases need to be managed and eliminated.
Tree Service
Tree service is also essential for almost every residential yard. We provide tree pruning, tree fertilization, tree disease management, tree removal, and stump grinding.
Insect Control
Emerald assists residential customers with the control of bothersome insects such as ticks, mosquitoes, winter moth caterpillars, and more.
Debris Clean-up
Emerald Landscaping will not allow leaves or debris to kill your yard or our mowers. If your area experiences a heavy rain or hail storm, please contact us immediately, and we will pick up branches, limbs, and other storm debris from your yard. We will haul all plant debris from the property.
Debris removal is also recommended at the beginning and end of each landscaping season. We can perform a full sweeping and blowing to remove all leaves from the property. We can dump the leaves at an off-site location or compost pile, or we can mulch the leaves and leave them in the yard, or we can vacuum existing leaf piles prepared by you—it’s your choice.
Mulching
Generally once in the fall, landscapes need mulching service. We will remove weeds and debris from your garden beds and mulched areas, edge all landscape beds and tree rings as necessary, and install new mulch.
Seasonal Flower Rotations
Emerald Landscaping provides flower plantings each season to enhance your property’s curb appeal. We prepare the planting beds or pots, install seasonal flowers, remove dead heads to encourage further blooming, and remove the planted flowers at the end of their growing season. A variety of colors are available, and we work with our customers to select the best colors to complement their property. Fertilization and watering of seasonal flowers can be provided upon request or as part of the contract.
